Tustin Art Walk and Craft Crawl
This year the prize for creativity goes to the City of Tustin for finding an innovative way for all of us to enjoy the annual Art Walk and Craft Crawl. They have made the event digital! You’ll find all of your favorite artists plus some new ones too. You can even purchase the art! To view all the amazing art click here.
There will also be music and dancing to enjoy at the virtual art walk. On Saturday, October 17, 2020 the art walk will showcase the talents of music and dance groups and soloists. Oct. 17 & 18 the Art Walk and Tustin Library will be hosting a Story Walk in Old Town Tustin! Families will be able to walk through Old Town Tustin and read a story posted in Old Town merchants’ windows and receive a free take-home craft. For more information call 714-573-3326 or 714-544-7725.
TACFA is thrilled to be one of the major sponsors of the Tustin Art Walk, as well as the Plein Air and “Snap Tustin!” contests. The Plein Air contest is open to professional and amateur painters, with first the prize award of $750 provided by TACFA. Entries must depict scenes or subjects from within Historic Old Town Tustin or Tustin Public Parks. CLICK HERE for full directions and a downloadable application for the Plein Air contest.
There is still time to enter the Snap Tustin contest photography contest. The theme for the photos this year — “Tustin life…from a safe distance”. All photos of the subject must be a minimum of 6 feet from the photographer. There are 9 cash prizes, incuding the People’s Choice award. CLICK HERE for details.
