Orange County Health Officer Nichole Quick has issued an order to protect the health and wellbeing of Orange County residents.
The Order includes prohibiting public and private gatherings of any number of people, including places of work and all bars and establishments that serve alcohol and do not serve food. All restaurants and other business establishments that serve food shall close all on-site dining with all food served by delivery, through pick-up, or drive-thru.

“We are taking these mitigation steps in line with a directive issued by Governor Newsom to help slow the spread of COVID-19,” said Dr. Nichole Quick, County Health Officer. “We recognize community members may experience anxiety related to the social disruption caused by COVID-19, and want to encourage residents to reach out to loved ones using appropriate methods like telephone, video messaging, email and text.”
The Order is effective immediately through March 31, 2020. As this is a rapidly evolving situation, this Order may be revised and/or extended at any time.
