Tustin Eastern Little League defeated South Sunrise Little League, 11-5, in the District 30 Major Division Championship game at Handy Park on Monday.
Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the third inning, Brady Ashworth launched a solo shot over the left center field fence to notch the game at 4. South Sunrise answered in the top of the fourth inning and reclaimed the lead by hitting a solo home run.
However, the Tustin Eastern All-stars rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to distance themselves from South Sunrise. The rally was aided by a two-run double by Cooper Munro and a two-run single by Shane Mc Mahon.
