The Wizard of Oz is coming to Tustin in August!
Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts (TACFA) is bringing back Broadway in the Park this year with a performance of “The Wizard of Oz” at Peppertree Park in August! We are excited to be partnering with them on this production and are seeking local businesses to get involved in a fun contest starting in July.
How do I get involved with my business?
As a fun social media campaign, we’re looking for a handful of local businesses to have a 24″ by 12″ area outside their storefront painted with washable temporary paint to resemble the “yellow brick road”. If you do not have a sidewalk area outside your business, a poster can be placed within your store window instead.
We’ll be encouraging the community to find the “yellow brick roads” hidden throughout Tustin by providing clues every week starting in July. Those who share a photo of themselves with the “yellow brick roads” will be entered into a contest to win fun prizes and free tickets to the performance in August.
Please make sure to obtain permission from your landlord to allow TACFA to paint on the sidewalk outside your business.
Why should I participate?
This is a wonderful opportunity to drive foot traffic to your business while also supporting a wonderful non-profit production that benefits the community.
How else can I get involved with my business?
There are plenty of other opportunities for businesses to support TACFA’s Broadway in the Park this year.
These opportunities include:
Becoming a program sponsor
Donating prizes for the opportunity drawing/raffle during the show dates
Advertising on the stage’s digital backdrop for 2 hours before the start of each performance in August
I would like to participate. What are the next steps?
If you are interested in having your business participate in TACFA’s Broadway in the Park program, we ask that you take a minute to complete the brief form that can be found here and return it to us at bhosford@tustinchamber.org. You can also answer each question via email if you prefer.
For any questions or concerns, please contact the Chamber office at (714) 544-5341 or Cathy Crair at info@TACFA.org or (714) 404-9453. Thank you.
