At our Monthly Membership Breakfast on Wednesday, November 11, we are welcoming Hank Kahrs as our guest speaker. Hank is a partner at RGL Forensics, a multidisciplinary forensic accounting and consulting firm delivering accurate and reliable financial analysis to corporations, law firms, universities, government and individuals. Hank will speak to our membership on the topic of fraud and how it can affect large and small businesses, government, non-profits and individuals.
For the past 25 years, Hank has practiced as a forensic accountant and fraud examiner quantifying economic damages in complex commercial, civil and criminal cases. He has served as an expert in hundreds of cases, testifying in trials, arbitrations and depositions. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, Hank has handled over 100 fraud and fidelity claims ranging from $1,000 to over $1,000,000. These claims have included simple schemes such as writing checks to one’s self to complex kickback schemes with outside vendors and phony corporations. In addition to claims experience, Hank has handled several corporate dissolutions in which one partner had accused the other partner of fraud during the course of the business.
