Chairman’s Message

Jonathan Stone
It is with both pride and humility that I succeed Ned Smith as Chairman of Board for the Tustin Chamber of Commerce. As a member of the Tustin Chamber Board of Directors for the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to witness, first hand, Ned’s dedication to the role of Chairman and the community of Tustin at large. Ned remains on the board as Immediate Past Chair and will continue to provide guidance to both myself and the board at large. I hope that my tenure as Chair reflects the same dedication to the role that I witnessed in Ned’s. I inherit a veteran board, and tremendous amounts of positive momentum, giving me great confidence in our ability to grow the Tustin Chamber into its full potential.
The Chamber of Commerce is a unique institution where Government, Public Services, Commercial Interests and Civic Organizations intersect. It is a place to find common ground to provide mutual support for our shared interests. It is, in short, where we meet to grow and strengthen our community. This year we support that vision by building on our recent success. By growing our Health Fair, and adding an education component, we showcase essential services in our community. We’ll be bringing back the Leprechaun Leap, which raises money for worthy causes while raising Tustin’s profile in the surrounding region. Lastly, moving forward, the board will focus time and energy on improving the value of the chamber membership, to better serve the businesses, organizations and individuals who serve Tustin and our surrounding communities. Thank you.
