What a great Ribbon Cutting the Chamber helped host on Thursday Jan 17th at the Granada Plaza on the corner of Yorba and Irvine Blvd. You may remember the old building at this location burned down over a year ago. The rebuilt building is state of the art and ready for leasing! Suites are anywhere from 400 square feet to 2000. Built around a courtyard with up to date amenities this would make a great place to locate your business! In attendance were 75 or more of Tustin’s Realtor’s, business owners, chamber members and City Council people as well as the representatives for State Assemblymen, State Senators and U.S. congressmen.
Mr. George Argyros the principal owner of Arnel Properties was there in person to accept the certificates that the Chamber and the elected official present at our Ribbon Cuttings. Mr. Argyros (in the Forbes 400 list at 1.9 Billion net worth) is a benefactor of Chapman College School of Business and Economics which is named after him. Mr. Argyros has served as the U.S. Ambassador to Spain and owned the Seattle Mariners baseball team. He and his wife of over 50 years celebrated the opening with a champagne toast.
